| Woo hoo! I got my first acceptance to medical school today, and it was my top choice school! Creighton University (Omaha, NE) told me I was accepted, so I have been riding on quite a high all day long! Talk about an answer to prayer! | | |
| So it has been 5 or so months since I last updated... and a ton has happened since June. To start, the best thing in my life now, is that I am engaged to Tara, as of September 9th. The wedding is slated for June 10th, and I couldn't be more excited! Secondly, the re-application process for medical school is going as well as can be. It still is a long process, stressful, and ambiguous. I have had two interviews so far, one at KU (Kansas City) and another at Creighton (Omaha) and they both went really well, I thought. Now I just have to wait it out and see if I get in to either of those schools. I should hear back from Creighton by Christmas! I have another interview in Kansas City for their osteopathic school coming in January, so hopefully that goes well too.
I should try and update this more often I do think.............

| Working nights can be so long sometimes, and it's quite odd adjusting to the meal times and sleep patterns. Oh well, it's good money and I can't complain. But I'm definitely tired! Next week is my week off which is good news. Hope everyone is have a good summer so far! | | |
| Well, I officially will be in Bolivar for the next 15 months, sparing I don't get accepted into medical school this summer. I got a job at CMH as a full time Pharmacy Technician, which I will have to work towards becoming certified once I begin. Night position though, which will make it interesting. So that is some good news! Until I start though, I'm kinda bored. Bolivar is very slow once everyone leaves... but that is to be expected I guess. | | |
| Well, graduation is over, and it was a great day! I got to see all sorts of relatives, and of course, my gorgeous girlfriend, Tara and her family.
The rest of the weekend has gone by quickly, and now I'm sitting here wondering what will become of the rest of the summer... will I be accepted into medical school, will my interviews come in for the jobs I applied for? All these questions and so little answers tends to make one nervous.. I just have to learn to trust in the Lord.
I'll be in Bolivar this summer so if you are in town, give me a call! | | |
